Had a routine service done on my truck. I also asked to have the tires rotated. However, the tread on the rear tires was low so they did not rotate them. Which I greatly appreciated. I knew the tires were low, but didn’t know they were basically out of life.

I was able to get a next day appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I dropped off my truck at 7:30 and went to another appointment. I received a text around 8:30 that it was ready. Fast friendly service everytime.

The "excellent" rating is solely a reflection of Mike Harley. He was the only person at the dealership that first sought to understand our needs -- how we were going to be using the vehicle, type of driving, what we needed as "must have's," "nice-to-have's" and not wanted. From there, he curated a selection of vehicles which met our criteria. He focused on need-based consulting rather than approaching from a purely financial transaction. Mike has also been one of the most communicative and responsive salesmen we have ever worked with in over 30 years of buying vehicles. Tim Rowe also gets credit for contributing to the 5 stars as he did save the sale. See below. David Rosendahl (sp?), the Business Manager, single-handedly came within 60 seconds of tanking the entire deal. I'm not sure if it was his low social IQ, lack of customer-interaction skills, or what, but he did not listen to us, and would not stop talking when we asked for him to slow down and explain some things. When he did stop to allow us to ask a question he quickly cut us off and started talking over us. Then, right out of the gate tried selling us extended service contracts which, when I started adding up the pricing he was presenting, it was going to be almost one-third the cost of the vehicle. Not one question about what we may like or need. We were also planning on financing with the dealership/GM, until David started playing fast and loose with interest rates. We had done our homework with various financial institutions and knew what kind of rates we could expect. The rates David was came up with were significantly higher. On top of all this, he was constantly calling my wife "you" - not by her first name or Mrs. [Last Name] and would regularly refer to me as her "hubby." Yes, I am her husband, but it was EXTREMELY unprofessional to be constantly referring to me as her "hubby." His pompous attitude and unwillingness to stop and listen to the customer was infuriating and frustrating. David petulantly stormed out of his office when we called him on his behavior and, at that point, we stood up to walk away completely. Thankfully, Tim Rowe observed the situation and came in to offer his assistance and saved the deal. We ended up just paying cash for the whole transaction -- simpler. David is definitely NOT an asset to your organization and, if he worked for me, he wouldn't be any longer. Lastly, we can definitely give the prize of best representing the stereotypical car salesman to Peter. Did not trust from the beginning -- just the air about him and how he interacted with us. Always telling us why they couldn't do something or why the extra cost, yet the pricing originally presented to us was NOT the pricing advertised (before taxes, fees, etc.) and we had to fight to get to the starting point of the price advertised on the dealership's website. Then having to constantly go back to the "man behind the curtain" to get approvals. This is what gives car salesmen their reputation. Additionally, Peter verbally agreed to include all-weather mats for the vehicle and when I went back to meet with Peter to make good on the commitment, he told us he wouldn't be able to because we didn't finance with the dealership. Going back on one's word is another reason why there's lack of trust. This is why David was playing fast and loose with the interest rates -- adding on much more for the dealership kickbacks. From a processing perspective, I am now being informed that it will take 30-45 days to get the registration and title from the DMV. In other states (many) in which we have lived, it usually has taken 1-3 business days. Unacceptable process. Bottom line, we need to replace two more vehicles in the near future and, based on our experience in purchasing this vehicle, Escude is currently NOT in the solution set. If Mike had the supporting cast that we could trust, yes, it would be. (and don't even get me going on the Service Department issues we have had in the last year -- that is an additional chapter). More than happy to entertain a call or meeting with the owner.
